An exciting, sociable experience for 13-17 year olds (or those who have completed S1), including bible teaching, faith spots, sports, trips and activities...
Senior camp is a great mix of bible teaching, fun activities, sports, amazing food, discussions and free time.
Each year our activities focus (loosely!) around a theme and we usually have two day trips away from Faskally House. These alternate between active/ water activities and a visit to an area of interest. We also have an afternoon walk into Pitlochry.
Young people are split into teams which they work in to earn points. Points are given for tidy rooms, participation, learning bible verses and sporting wins. The winning team is awarded a prize at the end of the week.
We begin each morning with breakfast followed by bible teaching before an organised sport or activity. Some activities are opt in whilst others are team orientated and everyone participates. After lunch we have more activities and then dinner. The evening bible teaching session is followed by a 'Faith Spot' which is a team discussion with the leaders. Supper is often accompanied by a 'leaders challenge' which provides great entertainment. Young people then have some free time before bed.
